Tapas is a very social dining experience, ideal for corporate Christmas Parties.  At The Piano Bar we’ve got your Christmas Party covered!

Please read through the many options available to you, and if there is something that we can change or include we have more than happy to do so.  We are here to be at your service to assist with bringing it all together, customising your Christmas function making it memorable.

 Seating Options

  1. Couches – this is a relaxed dining experience. Sunday through to Thursday the couches can be booked for any number of people, however on Friday and Saturday night they are typically removed unless booked for min. 23 and max. 30 people.
  2. Alfresco Dining Room – dining alfresco in the summer breeze in the warmer months, yet made warm and cosy in the cooler months, thanks to our gas heaters. Our alfresco dining room is an all-weather location.
  3. Cocktail Bar – this is great for holding a ‘cocktail style’ event, which allows guests to freely mingle. We can accommodate up to 80 people comfortably in our speak-easy intimate bar.

Opening Hours

Our typical opening hours are Monday to Thursday 5pm to midnight, and Friday to Sunday 12pm to midnight.  However, we can open outside of these regular trading hours to accommodate your function.

Extensive Drinks Menu

Our ‘Drinks Menu’ can be emailed to you if you wish to select drinks made available to your party.  We also have available digital menu pads which can be customised to only show the drinks you wish to offer.  Alternatively we offer the ‘good old fashioned’ full table service if you prefer.  We do not have set drinks packages, rather we prefer to tailor drink options that best suit you, according to your budget.

*** Mezze*** $40 per person… 10 courses (dessert $10 extra pp)

– Eliopita, traditional Cypriot handmade Olive Bread served with olive oil & balsamic
– Hand Cut Potato Chips with oregano & sea salt (GF)
– Greek Salad with tomato, cucumber, lettuce, olives, feta, lemon, olives, feta, lemon, olive oil & seasoned (GF)
– Meatballs braised in Italian Napoli sauce with basil & parmesan
– Lamb Souvlaki, traditionally cooked over coals & served with tzatziki (GF) 

– Cyprus Pita Bread
– Handmade Gnocchi, gorgonzola cream & fresh parsley
– Grilled Cyprus Haloumi Cheese served with shaved zucchini & fennel salad (GF)
– Risotto of Confit Duck, swiss brown mushrooms, parmesan & truffled oil

– Sour Dough Crumbed Calamari with fresh lemon & aioli
– Crab & Zucchini Fritters, crab claw meat, shredded zucchini & lemon, fried golden on a harissa aioli

Gluten Free (GF)

A lot of our dishes are gluten free. See those marked with ‘(GF)’. Dishes with (GF*) we can replace the bread with a gluten free bread to make the dish GF.  We are happy to prepare individual meals for those iwht stricter dietary requirements.  Please just let us know at the time of booking.

 A Cocktail to mark the event

To make your Christmas Party even more memorable or different our expert cocktail Bar Man can craft a signature cocktail – tying flavours with a unique cocktail name that will be exclusively available to your group. This at no extra cost – just the cost of the cocktail!

Live Music

The Piano Bar is known for it’s live music.  We are one of the few venues that plays live music 6 or more nights a week.  Our jazz styles vary from traditional to funk to that of a Spanish twist or a soloist can be found playing at The Piano Bar on a Monday night.  If your Christmas Party is held on a night we don’t typically have music we can make the necessary arrangements for you at your request.

Exclusive Use of the Venue

If you are wanting your own private area or exclusive use of the venue we can accommodate this for you.

Dress Code

Our dress code is smart casual to well dressed, no thongs, singlets please.
